If you are having difficulties getting the webcam to record your video assessments try these steps.

  1. Ensure that you are accessing your course via the Google Chrome web browser - here is a link to download Chrome on your device.
  2. Enable the webcam in the browser settings:
    1. Click the 3 vertical dots in the top right of the browser window to open the browser settings.

    2. Scroll and click 'Settings'

    3. Type 'Webcam' into the Setting search bar - you should see the following result.  


    4. Click 'Content Settings' then scroll down to the 'Webcam' section
    5. Click the box - 'Ask when a site requires access to your camera (recommended)'
    6. Click 'Done' to apply the changes.


You should now be able to record your video without any further difficulties.
